Did you know National Farmers Day is this week?
Every year on October 12th, we celebrate our local dairy farmers and the entire agricultural community who provide us with the one thing we all need—food!
Our dairy farmers work hard to provide us with real, nutrient-rich, and responsibly produced dairy. This year, we encourage others to celebrate by not only thanking farmers, but also by connecting back to the farm and learning more about where your favorite foods come from.
Visit a local farm, enjoy the local harvest, and learn how dairy travels from the farm to you! Not able to visit a farm? That’s ok! You can still connect to what’s real by visiting New England dairy farms digitally! Check out our video library and get to know some of your local farmers! Want an even closer look? Take a virtual field trip to a dairy farm.
Join in on the conversation and show your local farmers how you are celebrating by including both #NationalFarmersDay and #UndeniablyDairy on your social posts!
Also, look out for fun National Farmers Day Facebook frames on Friday, October 12th as another way to celebrate our farmers!
