Katie is the author of Maple: 100 Sweet and Savory Recipes Featuring Pure Maple Syrup {Quirk Books}. She is a Les Mills Certified Body Pump, Body Attack and GRIT instructor. She attempts to maintain an overly ambitious garden, and every spring she and her family make their own maple syrup at their home in Vermont.
She studied art and photography at Skidmore College and went to the New England Culinary Institute. She is a former restaurant cook, personal chef and worked in the Test Kitchen at EatingWell Magazine. In addition to maintaining her food blog, she is a contributing editor at EatingWell Magazine and her work appears in publications such as Parents Magazine and Fitness Magazine.
