We’ve teamed up with Sodexo and Kellogg’s to launch Cerealfest, a new campaign that encourages students at eight Vermont colleges to enjoy cereal and milk beyond breakfast. Super snackalicious?
Cerealfest will be initiated in eight Vermont schools this month including University of Vermont, Saint Michael’s College, Champlain College, Johnson State College, Castleton State College, Lyndon State, Vermont Tech and Norwich University. Signage and promotional materials in retail and dining hall locations at each school will encourage students to eat nutritious bowls of cereal and milk at breakfast and beyond!
Cerealfest was launched at the University of Vermont on January 17th with an event for students at Brennan’s Restaurant in the Dudley H. Davis Student Center. Mascots Tony the Tiger (Kellogg’s), Cocoa the Cow (HP Hood) and Rally Cat (UVM) joined the students, who sampled Cabot cheese, played games, and learned about UVM’s contributions to Vermont’s dairy agricultural community all while enjoying the perfect combination of cereal and milk.
During the event, HP Hood gave away free bottles of milk and Kellogg’s provided 600 single-serve samples of cereal.
And check this out! WCAX-TV and WPTZ-TV came to our event! Here’s a news clip we think you’ll enjoy:
