Celebrating the 2015 New England Dairy Farms of the Year

Summer is always one of our favorite times of year. Eating as much ice cream as possible to cool down is one of those reasons. The other is because it means it’s time to celebrate the dairy farm of the year in each of our New England states.

The name of this award is the Green Pastures Award and every year, one farm in each of our New England states wins this prestigious award. The winning dairy farms are recognized and selected for their production records; herd, pasture, and crop management; environmental practices; contributions to agriculture and the local community; and overall excellence in dairying.
