The Co-operative for Real Education in Agricultural Management (CREAM) is a great “experiential learning” program at the University of Vermont. Students learn by doing. They learn all aspects of dairy farming — from milking and caring for cows to the financial skills of managing a business. Graduates go on to be veterinarians, farmers, nutritionists, and other jobs in dairy breeding and dairy management.
